Movie Mania

Cam and I have watched A LOT of movies lately...and I recommend most of them I think. It just depends on what you are interested in.

We watched "Water" a foreign film set in India. Very good. Probably more for Dwayne and Jenny I think. Andy and Amy MIGHT like it...who knows.

We watched "Children of Men". It was okay. Worth watching I guess but nothing to write home about (although technically I am writing home about it right now aren't I?)

We also watched "Jesus Camp." This is AWESOME. I recommend it for all of you. Definitely something everyone should see.

I think that's all my movie recs right now. We also watched Smokin' Aces. If you are into action, filth, ridiculous violence, cussing..you will like this. We did. Piven is not the normal Piven though. So if you watch it expecting to see Jeremy Piven being his awesome self...you will be disappointed. But it is very good. Very Tarantino-esque.




Anyway- other than movies not much going on here. Cam has convinced me to go camping this weekend. So I guess we are going camping tomorrow. I know- weird right?


As a last note let me just say this- I will NEVER live in the South again. They have just accepted the mentality of being ignorant chauvinist bigots. True story- today I found out that the biggest racist in the school thinks that I am "disgusting" and he hates me. Why- you might ask? Well...it's because I don't hate black people. I am not joking. He hates me because I don't hate black people.

I hate the South.
